Hi, I’m Corbin Kehrberg—a renewable energy finance professional driven by a passion for sharing knowledge and helping others succeed. Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the leading institutions driving the energy transition.

During this time, I’ve contributed to acquiring over $300 million in renewable energy projects, raising $600 million in capital (across corporate equity, debt, and tax equity), and analyzing more than $1.5 billion of projects.

Now, I’m excited to share everything I’ve learned about breaking into and thriving in this growing and impactful industry.

My Own Journey and Mission

If you're feeling unsure about how to break into renewable energy finance, trust me—I’ve been there. During my junior year of college, I struggled to secure internships and later, full-time roles in this field. It wasn’t because of my GPA or lack of interest; I had both. The real challenge was mastering the financial modeling exercises required during interviews.

At the time, resources were limited. My college didn’t offer relevant courses, and the information I found online was overwhelming and not beginner-friendly. I even registered for a solar financial modeling course, but it relied heavily on templates and skipped the practical skills needed to excel in case studies.

Through persistence, networking, and learning from my own mistakes, I began to understand what interviewers were really looking for. Eventually, I landed a role as an Analyst, where I received hands-on training and worked on real projects. After a year, I started recognizing the common patterns across different projects and realized that, at its core, renewable energy financial modeling is simpler than it seems—once you have the right guidance.

Since then, I've made it my mission to share what I’ve learned. I helped double my company’s team, trained new analysts, mentored aspiring professionals, and presented at organizations like UCLA, NYU, and College to Climate.

Now, with GreenBridge, my goal is to create the resource I wish I’d had—a clear roadmap for breaking into renewable energy finance. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills, GreenBridge is here to help you build a career that’s as impactful as it is fulfilling.
